Apparantely only allows cold air out and acts as a dehumidifier (meant to help solve problem of damp in the room)

Difficult to comment without further information but a 9"x6" air brick should cost no more than £5 - £10 regardless of if it`s plastic , fireclay or aluminium .
Therefore £475 to supply and fit one would seem a little excessiveI`m now officially too old to die young0 -
This cant be a "normal" air brick, as quoted by the hairy builder above - we put them in for about £50 including labour. How can an air vent allow "cold air out"? The idea is to bring air into the room, not suck it out. Have you got the name of this vent?0
