    I don't think I would have paid enough NI, I've earnt about £4.5k each of the past three years and was in education all that time.

    Hi Gemmzie,

    Sorry to hear things have got worse.

    From reading the old posts, the issue would be whether you have paid sufficient NI Contributions in order to qualify for IB. This is a question that only the DWP (the Jobcentre) can answer.

    If you do not qualify for IB, you may be able to claim IS.

    Are you still registered as a student?

    Yeah I'm still registered, I'm finishing my first year by doing retakes this summer. Not sure I'll be returning at the moment though :(

    I think I'll go and see the JCP on Monday, do you think I'll need an appointment?
