Welcome to MSE francine and glad to hear you have made some savings
I'm going to shift this thread across to the How Much Have You Saved board
so it might help new users find another way of making savings0 -

i've saved a fortune to india and india mobile by using 07744974363 but i see now that their website also says 07744973333.
my bruv uses it from o2 to call friends on isreal mobiles..& he reckons he saved about £500 in 6 months!

I am also suspicious - how does Simply Fone make money on the calls?
Can somebody talk me through this slowly please. I have got a small amount of free minutes with my tariff. Say, for example, I wanted to phone an 0870 or 0845 number (not included in my free mins). I use the Simply Fhone prefix and the cost of the call comes out of my free mins??
How does this work and how does the site make any money?0 -
Hmm yeah, can any one enlighten me to how this works? Will come in very handy if it really doesnt have a catch to it!!:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0

Could users please read Martin's article here and then post any questions on the relevant threads on the Telephone Board
This post was moved here as it was a thank you to Martin by the OP for saving money, sorry if it has caused confusion and questions regarding the article the OP had read.0 -
as i began this post i feel a bit responsible so.....
what i do [following martins advice] is:
using a t-mobile or o2 or BT mobile (with those free minutes that you can use to call other mobiles in uk)
u just call 07744973333 or 07744974363 and the phone will give a prompt... interrupot prompt & dial yr International number followed by # [do NOT press' call' after cos it wont them work]
the int. call will be totally free & acc. to their website it works to 380 + countries...
take a look on https://www.simply-fone.com0 -
The calls are not actually free are they. They come out of your inclusive minute. So lets say for example you get 200 cross network minutes for £30 a month .The calls in fact would be costing you (£30 divided by 200) 15p a minute!!!
You also have to be very careful when dialling cheap call providers numbers, not to exceed your inclusive minute allowance, otherwise the cost of calling shoots up.PF.0 -
c'mon be fair...
their website does say:
Don't Waste Your Inclusive Mobile Minutes!*
so they really would be free calls if otherwise you'd waste your inclusive minutes :beer:0 -

I am not suggesting that its not a good product to use to make intl calls, providing your network allows you to call it out of its inclusive minutes.I am merely pointing out that its not free as you have paid your supplier for the call in the first place. Also that if you exceed your inclusive minutes its normally expensive to ring these type of numbers.PF.0
