I've been a regular moneysaver ever since the first Trevor Macdonald program, and have saved loads since then (changing gas, electricity etc). I've been a card tart three times and, most recently, even managed to get the 18 months interest free balance transfer card from Capital one, thanks to your tip, so I've had my fair share of smug moments - it really is one in the eye for the rip-off merchants.

I forwarded the email to my 22 year old son and his girlfriend, and they have reduced their annual outgoings by over £3,900 - a massive amount. They were first time buyers, and thought they were stuck with the mortgage company's insurance etc, but they followed everyone's advice and changed everything (they already had a really good 5-year mortgage deal, so they kept that), but changed their insurance, gas, electricity, telephone - everything.

Whilst this is a fantastic saving, isn't it dreadful that these companies can rip us off to such an extent in the first place? Keep it up, Martin!
