Citibank application.........

I applied online for a Citibank cc with a transfer balance last Tues (5th) and am still waiting for them to get back to me, although tey did say it would be upto 7 days. I received an email asking me to call a telephone number for the result but when I called they said that it was still being processed. It was a call centre in India and as usual there was nobody available to speak to me about it.

The trouble is that I will now pay a hefty interest on my credit card because the transfer hasn't been done. Does anyone know how I could hurry this along? Their website is hopeless!!

I wouldn't worry I applied for a citi card on 25th Jan, and I only recived a phone call from them on 11th Feb 2008 to conifrm secuirty details, she then said they would look at the application and let me know within 5 days, I wont hold my breath not if it took them that long just to look at it

Well just an update, I recived a letter today, accepting my application, I have to say however citi are the slowest people to look at applications, I applied for it on 25th Jan and got my letter today 16th Feb, although only £1000 limit 16.1% and 6.9 LOB with no fee whooooooo should at least give me the £250 i need to pay barclaycard and then I can have great pleasure in calling them up and telling them to shove it where the sun dont shine
