Sold an item in January, posted to Spain, sent it recorded or whatever i could to get a signature,
Buyer has just decided to say he never recived it, it was posted around 4th Jan.
And to top it all of can I find the proof of postage! No! I have turned my house upside down
What can I do, do the post office you posted it from keep a log?
I have got good feedback 600+ never had this problem.
Any help appreciated

They will do exactly what they warn us they will do when we sign up to them.
Has the buyer started a chargeback? If not he really only has a limited time now to do so. If he has then like the others have said without proof of delivery you cannot win the chargeback. Even if you did have proof of delivery the address can't be confimed as it is in Spain, so it really is not worth paying the considerable extra cost to send stuff to Europe tracked. For future reference just use standard airmail for overseas items and if it fails to arrive refund the buyer and reclaim from the Royal mail using a certificate or receipt of posting.
