Convert a garage

Hi! I am based around Warrington. I am looking to convert an integral garage, but doing it in stages, with me attempting to do some of the work.
I would like an idea of the following:
Cutting an internal door through into the garage. House is 10-15 years old, so this is through breeze block. I can source a door (I know needs to be 1 hour fireproof) although would like an idea of how much if builder was to supply.
Sealing the floor - can I do this with rubber paint? or do I need to seal it better? Do I need to insulate the floor at some point?
Also putting up a party wall to seperate part of the garage off.
Thanks guys.
ALso let me know if you can, or know off someone who could do part of this.

hi.
we have just recently had a integral garage converted into a playroom.building notice was reqd with the local council ( £175). A local builder did the work at what i thought was a reasonable £3500. I did the electrics myself but had to pay a certified electrician £100 to test the work. If i had the time i think most of the work could be diy if you are a reasonable standard. We had a wood "floating "floor fitted with six inches of insulation underneath. I think you only need a firedoor if it is a garage, if converting it to a habitable room any interior door will do.
hope this is of some help to you
good luck0 -

Bumping this up as could do with more advise. Maybe just after a price for an internal door being cut into the garage. Know a door company who will do a good deal for a quality door, but how much for the hole and making good???0
