I purchased a philips twin pack telephone from currys 5 days ago, i was told by a salesman it had caller id name and number, on getting home it only had the caller id number on display and no option to register the persons name to the number. Also the display went blank in places, missing out parts of numbers it was displaying but only every now and again not permanantly, so 2 days after purchase i returned, wanting a full refund as stated my policy said i could have if faulty, But a sales man in store checked phones and said he could see no problem so no refund, when i queried his collegue also said the same so told me to refund or exchange unless the saw the fault themselves. It doesnt state this in my policy am i entitled to a refund? please help

Does it not just diplay the name if the incoming number matches one stored in the internal memory of names and numbers, otherwise it just displays the incoming number.0
