Ipod 30gb 5th Gen Ipod Video - Help

Hi Techies
I have a 30gb 5th gen ipod video, and have downloaded (bought) videos / tv programmes direct from the itunes store. I cannot work out how to watch these. They are showing in my ipod 'Video' menu, under 'TV shows'. When I press play, I get the audio but just a still artwork of the programme. The counter is going down also. What am I doing wrong??
