Your FTSE 100 predictions for 2008......!

Just thought it might be interesting to get your opinions on where YOU think the FTSE 100 will be at the end of this year...?

Personally, I think it will finish 2008 at around 5600.................:eek:

I think there will be a Spring bounce then it will tank down towards 5000 as the UK housing market tanks over the Summer and Autumn.

Personally I don't care where the Index finishes the year....or even where it is at any time. I'm more interested in where individual components of the index are.

25-35 % of the 100 Index will have good performances over this year, while a good many of the rest will be neutral and a few tank badly.

The Index as a whole will do well to finish above 6,000
