Which CC provider offers the highest credit limits?
I now have two cards, i at £475 limit and one at £550. I'd rather have one with a limit of £1025.
Any ideas?

I believe its done on an individual basis so its not really the case of which company.0

Maybe if you miss a few payments they might up your limit. I pay my balance every month but the my limit on my 2 RBS cards is about 1/2 of my brothers limit and I earn twice as much as him. I have asked them to up the limit to no avail.0

I've just taken out an Egg card purely for the BT and they gave me a £10k limit. My other 2 normal CCs that I've had for the last 15 years have £9.6k & £8k limitsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I recently took out an Amazon Mastercard (issued by Halifax) to get the £15 voucher and they gave me an initial limit of £14.5k.0

I'm also with RBS. I have £475 and £550 limits. Which is pretty useless if you are trying to buy a £650 airline ticket to Singapore!
The bizarre thing is that they wouldnt up my limit for an RBS Classic beyond £550 (from £475) but had no probs approving an RBS Platinum with a £475 limit!
Why not just let me have one useful limit of £1025?

Perhaps its because I have only had a CC for a year?[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Rise like Lions after slumber
