I've just got a laptop and wanted to burn some Cd albums onto DVD for the car, is it worth me getting these?
Presuming that I can get some in Bristol.0 -
These discs arent that good for DVD video. Even after burning at 2x speed, my £350 toshiba DVD player is skipping!0

Just tried writing to one on my Plextor drive - failed. Tried another one and it worked. Not a good average so far!

How strange, I've burned approx 40 so far (DVD reproduction, of non Copyrighted material), and all have written fine and played absolutely fine in a £30 Yammada player.

100% success for me so far - burn no problem and play on all 4 dvd's I've tried. I have a nec 3520a - like somebody mentioned earlier it it may depend on the writer as they do seem particular compatibile with the nec writers0

Not if you only have a CD player in the car. Even though you burn all your CDs onto DVD, it will still bve regarded as a DVD, not a CD when you play it in your CD player.
If you have one of those DVD kits, then I guess you will be OK.0
