You should be really careful about buying cheap media such as this. There is a increased risk that you will get a poor quality burn or that the disk will not last the distance.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this link, I'm sure some one will tell me if I can't, but I found it very useful when I was having problems with by DVD burner. Its provides a great discussion on the most reliable brands of blank DVDs - http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm0 -

They were originally £16.99 for 50, then reduced down to £9.01, then put on BOGOF. Great discs. I've not had a single coaster yet. Be quick, though, as they are dirt cheap and going fast. 100 DVD-r or DVD+r for £9.01! Bargain.
(I did search to see if this had already been posted, but couldn't find anything.)
Hi, is there a link?
Cheers

Does anyone know any Staples stores in the Tyne & Wear area where this offer applies? I rang the Sunderland store but was told they don't have the offer on, so I rang the Gateshead (Office World) store - they have the spindles of 50 for £9.01 but not BOGOF.

Harty, many Staples staff aren't aware they've got them on offer. Ring those stores back and ask them to scan them through the till to check. My local didn't know until I told them. They scanned them through the till and were rather amazed to see that they were BOGOF and £9.01In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I'm using these discs on two different burners. I've not had a single coaster yet. They weren't cheap discs at first, either. They were £16.99 for 50. They are only cheap now because they are on offer and are BOGOF.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Staples on Portrack Lane in Stockton have them (Wed 20th lunchtime).
At that price they are cheap enough to throw away after recording from the TV.0
