I ordered a few things from Studio 24 catalogue back in Sept 07, didn't hear anything for months so propmtly forgot about it, in December 07 the goods where delivered but I refused delivery as I no longer wanted them, didn't sign anything etc, the delivery man said they would take a couple of weeks to go back.
Since then I have been sent statements demanding payment for these goods, I have telephoned Studio on several occassions with no sucess, I either don't get through at all or wait for ages and then get cut off.
Emailling them seems just as fruitless, although they did say that they had recieved some of the items back and would refund them to my statement, they sent out forms for me to sign to say that I did not recieve the goods which I signed immediately and sent back the same day.
I've just recieved a threatening letter saying that I owe them £91.01 and asking for a minimum payment of £15, stating if I do not pay they will pass my account on to a debt recovery agency.
The goods I ordered came to less than £40, the rest are administration charges that they are still charging me even though I told them months ago that I did not recieve any goods.
I'm really at a loss as to what to do, I've emailed them since but they haven't replied....any ideas?

I had a similar experience from studio24 - they are worse rip-off merchants than the banks with their bank charges - is it even legal to charge you £20 'administration fee' and £1 'service charge' every time they send you a payment reminder?
I ordered a marble rolling pin which took ages to arrive. It cost £6.99 and I used a free delivery code found on here but was still billed the full £11.98 - why can't they just take payment at time of order like most online stores? If I had known that I would be charged postage I would never have bothered as this almost doubled the cost of the item. After several threatening letters and no reply to emails I eventually paid the full £11.98 (by online banking) just to get rid of them (I refuse to pay the rip-off admin and service charges). However they are still sending me threatening red letters, adding £20 in 'charges' each time and saying I now owe them £60 - for a crappy £6.99 rolling pin!!

Write to them telling them you dispute the charges - outline why - back it up with printouts of emails etc, keep on and on at them - make sure you tell them that you will only communicate in writing, which should hopefully stop any nasty phone calls. Don't sign the letter, just initial it - and send by Recorded Delivery!0
