That is an absolutely fabulous win! I am really impressed that you have wiped out your CC debt as your first priority - just think that the money you would have paid each month is also now freed up for something else I hope you asked them to close the CC accounts as well so you don't end up in a few months time with a new CC when they send out the renewal Will also mean your credit history will show it as a closed CC.

Hmmm... a cheque from Olay ... you weren't taken into the room for Money Laundering purposes, it was sales purposes - they probably hoped that you'd invest some of it their way If you had paid in cash then I could accept the ML excuse (Worked in a bank for early 18 years so I know most of the tricks :rotfl: )
