Anyone Bought Cruise Only Princess On Internet?

Princess c.o. price on US based web sites amazing - is there any reason why one cannot buy?

unless you have an american address you can not buy Princess cruises via anAmerican agent its a Princess rule. There are other crusie ines you cant buy but I cant remeber them I think Cunard is oneIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0

I used www.cruisecompete.com when I wanted a QM2 cruise and didn't have a problem not having a US address. The US agent sent the tickets to me here in UK.0

I tried to book Princess through agent I'd used in USA but they are not allowed to book UK citizens. I was really miffed but there was nothing I could do.
I go in about 4 weeks and we've taken an inside cabin because of price but could have had a balcony for the same money if we could have booked through USA agent.
Have also booked a Celebrity cruise (used USA agent) and this would have cost £200 extra if I had booked in this country.
Perhaps Princess and the other companies who insist on this could give us a good reason!0
