HAVE TODAY HAD A REPLY FROM CREDIT CARD COMPANY AFTER TAKING 2 X £10 CHEQUES FOR A LIST OF CHARGES TO BE SENT OUT. THEY HAVE BASICALLY IGNORED LETTERS AND SAID THE MATTER HAS BEEN DEALT WITH AND NO FURTHER LETTERS WILL BE SENT. WE HAVE ASKED FOR COPIES OF THE PAST 6 YEARS STATEMENTS AND THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN THIS. WE ALSO HAD CARDS THAT WERE AT OUR LAST ADDRESS AND THE ACCOUNTS NOW CLOSED- IGNORED THE REQUEST FOR THESE CHARGES TO BE LISTED AS WELL. CAN THEY BE THIS IGNORANT? WHAT SHOULD WE DO NEXT?

The next step is to LEARN NOT TO SHOUT IN YOUR POSTS as this makes them harder to read and understand. Also it might be worth reading Martin's guides as this is already covered.
I take it you have made a data protection request to you credit card company, using the template available on this site. If they haven't sent the information within the required time period (which offhand I think is about 45 days, but I'm not certain without looking it up), then make a complaint to the Information Commisioner.
On a seperate note, why have you sent them 2 x £10 cheques? Once should have been sufficient.
BTW, welcome to the site & good luck reclaiming!0
