No Late Payment Charge

Does anyone out there know of a credit card that has no late payment charges or are significantly less than the £25 average?

Had one from HSBC some time ago but they charge now.

I think Liverpool Victoria only charge £15. Nationwide has recently gone up to £20. Barclaycard are also £20.

Best way to avoid a late payment charge is to set up a direct debit for the minimum amount, although that may just move the problem to your current account if you are up against your overdraft limit.

Most banks will change your payment date until just after pay day if that makes your life easier.

I was soooo pleased to see "daveboy"s name as the last poster on this thread because I just kneeewww that he'd be there with his usual friendly, really helpful, non-judgmental comments.... And, sure enough, he hasn't disappointed me. What a wonderful fellow - just sloshing over with the milk of human kindness!

I am a well organised individual and condecending "comments" from daveboy don't help anyone including daveboy. On the rare occaision I miss a payment deadline it would be nice to think some card providers would be happy with the interest generated alone!

Personally...I'd love to see a poll on whether fellow mse'ers would love to see all history of daveboy purged from mse!

Seems the mods just dont warn him enough about the unhelpful cack he spews out here!

NO, no -- I think daveboy should have a sub-forum all to himself containing all his history. It would be really entertaining. Just to see how many times he managed to comment withOUT sarcasm! (God knows how he managed to get thanked 42 times.... [By masochists, presumably])

My post was a joke , a bit of sarcasm LOL....have you never heard the comment, he's so miserable he just needs a cuddle? Maybe it's a Northern thing
