Apple Mac Powerbook Keyboard problem

My reQuest for help =
I have a powerbook which has developed an annoying problem. I can not type the lower case of Q, upper case is fine as you can see but I can't figure out why such a problem would occur. Surely the censor is ok, could this be a virus/bug on the powerbook. I'm sick of typing words that look like the above.

Check to see if you have any programs installed that set 'hot keys'.

One such program is called 'SmartTrash', which does exactly what you prescribe (although in that instance I was only aware of it affecting the 'a').

Try to think of anything you installed recently, thats most likely to be the root of the cause.
  • Hmmmm, will have a look into this. as far as i know nothing is set up like that and I haven't installed anything new for donkeys. Thanks for the tip though I will look into it.
