Travelsphere tours for 30yr olds?

Hi,

We're looking at a few tours listed with Travelsphere but i'm unsure about booking anything due to the group tour thing. Me and the oh are only just in our 30's and fairly independent, anyone care to share info on what the groups are like.. I don't mean to cause offence but do they get a broad age range on these tours or do they attract the older type of people more?

  • When we went we were around 30 and apart from one lady and her teenage son we were the youngest.
To be honest we made a lot of friends on that tour very quickly - and there are days / 1/2 days where you can do your own thing if you wish.

We did the West Coast/Nevada tour and would recommend it to anyone.

My parents are both around sixty and they love Travelsphere. I agree with ejones999 that you will probably be the youngest on there, but they do tend to be very friendly and outgoing types. Enjoy! x

  • Cheers for the replies, confirms my suspicions..
I may look elsewhere, or have a look at going it alone maybe. We're just at that stage now where we're past the backpacking type tours with the big get togethers but not quite ready for the sightseeing trips aimed at the older generation.

I really don't think that they are aimed at the older generation, I think anybody would be happy on the last tour that my parents went on ...

I personally prefer holidaying with older people. There seems to be less hassle, less waiting around than with younger ones (and I'm still under thirty ... just!).

If I had to travel in a group (and I do tend to go it alone), it would defintely be one where everybody else is 40+ (or maybe that is just to aid my search for a sugar daddy?!) x

my In laws went to LA and california with them about 18 months ago. they said there was a real mix of ages and everyone got on well together. they often recommend that we also go, but im put off by the idea of spending quite so much time on the coach travelling between places rather than experiencing the country

We went on a Canada tour with Jetsave, yes we were the youngest by quite a distance but what fun we had, and what friends we made. Fantastic, and we consider ourselves quite lively and definately not stuck in the mud serious.
No Matter what you do there will be critics.
