I tried to apply for an egg money card going through cashback site Quidco and computer said no..........
do you think if I tried again applying for egg money without going through Quidco I might be successful
I know my credit rating is excellent as I have just been accepted and sent the Capital One 0% bts and no fee.

Is the Egg Money card available through Quidco, or have you (unsuccessfully) applied for the wrong product, ie the Egg Card (Visa)?
Worse, do you now have a fee-free BT card coming with no (fee-free) SBT card to route it through?0 -

When going through quidco it took me to the egg visa home page which has a click option for egg money which is what I did and applied that way (hoping to get the cashback).
with the capital one free bt card, I just transfered the total balance from an existing nationwide cc after my initial 0% for 3 months purchase period ended.0 -
just an update on my earlier post...............today I had a phone call from egg about my recent application for egg money card..........
they asked me questions on all my annual financial income and expenditure........phone call lasted about 20 minutes.......wanted to know what I wanted the card for and if I knew what kind of card this was........
in the end I was accepted for the egg money card with a £2000 credit limit, I asked for more to match limit on one of my other cards (as my credit history is excellent) but it was turned down on this occasion but will be reviewed later.
now as I went through the quidco site I am just waiting to see if I get the cashback or not.0 -

Hi, just to update on my previous post..........after applying for the egg money card via quidco......I submitted an inquiry as this didnt track at time of opening and wasnt sure if it would as it was not the egg visa card.
well.......after being sent to merchant and.....after waiting for 2 months.........this has finally tracked and the £20 cashback has been successful and credited to my quidco account this week.0 -
i did it 'the hard way' - applied/accepted for Egg card, got the 35£ from Quidco then applied for the Egg Money ( and was turned down). At this point said to Egg that what I really wanted was Egg Money and they've closed my Egg Card and gave me the Egg Money instead.Hi, just to update on my previous post..........after applying for the egg money card via quidco......I submitted an inquiry as this didnt track at time of opening and wasnt sure if it would as it was not the egg visa card.
