ICICI offer a 1 year term deposit with a rate of 6.85% which beats all the usual recommendations but it never seems to get a mention on this site, why is this? is there any reason to avoid it?

Runs just great for me. Clearly states terms and maturity value. Can select to run for one year or auto renew. You do need an icici hi-save instant access account first though. Martin does rate it highly under his saving recommendations. I've found cs really good, always get back to you quickly if you pm.0
