Hi all
I suppose all are different.
But I had to write to MBNA and Halifax 2 weeks ago and have not had a response.
How long would you suggest I wait before I put a chasing call?

After 2 weeks, I think that it is perfectly reasonable to call. If there is any sense of urgency on your part (you don't say what the letter was about) then I would certainly call them. Checking my files i wrote to them on 23/12/04 and they replied 05/01/05.
I have to write again because they have moved all the statement dates and cut down the time to pay. Also during the recent issue of new cards and pins then sent them out twice! How secure is that! As I did not know they were going to send the same card twice i would not have miseed it if it had been stolen.
I have found that the Halifax dont reply to letters. They send them to you pretending they come from your branch but they come from Head Office. If you reply it goes to Head Office. You cannot contact your branch by phone dirrectly.0
