Im struggling

Looking to find flights from bristol/exeter/bournemouth/or birmingham
for 2 people for the above dates.
Why is this ssssssssssuuch a difficult task.

Any ideas anyone ?

You're having the same problem as we've been having the last couple of years trying to get to Cyprus in January from Birmingham. Both times flights have been changed to Manchester and there's nothing coming up for next year either. Also, just got back from this year's trip to Cyprus and flights were being combined from all over.

By jiggling our dates we did manage to fly from Birmingham on what seemed to be the only date in January and all the East Midlands people had to travel to Birmingham as their flight had been cancelled. On the return journey the Exeter people were put on the Bham flight - dropped off Bham people first then flew down to Exter after Bham cases removed. What made it worse was that the rep never told them they would be going to Bham first, they'd heard a rumour and it was confirmed when they got to the airport!

It seems as though there aren't as many people going away during Dec/Jan/Feb as before (according to one tour operator's rep that I spoke to)and they are dropping flights from some airports to fill planes up at other airports. Also, I suppose as the cheap airlines are flying to more places (Easyjet are adding Cyprus in April I believe) then maybe people are getting a cheap flight and booking accommodation direct rather than use a tour operator.

Apart from the London airports, I would say the safest bet for a flight definitely not being changed is Manchester based on our experience the last couple of years - we've met loads of people who flew from Manchester as originally planned but many stories of changed flights from other airports. Obviously doesn't help you, it wasn't much good for use either! But I really can't see why Birmingham has been dropped, after all it's supposed to be the second city!

Fureteventura is not a destination served by the low cost airlines so really only leaves you with the charter airlines.

A lot of the flights seem to only be for a 14 night duration. Tried to do 2 one way flights for your dates but can't seem to get anything for the inbound.

Best price so far for 2 weeks out on 17 Dec and back on 31 Dec from Birmingham is £319 per person with Thomas Cook
