The BBC (clicky) report that Jeff Stelling has been awarded a miniature Brian Clough statue for his defence of Middlesbrough (clicky) after C4' Location, Location, Location branded the town the worst place to live in England.
I have to say that Middlesbrough has many faults but no more than most towns. The North East is a wonderful part of the country with the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire moors and some of the most impressive coastal views in the country all within a few miles.
Well said Jeff Stelling.
