Roughly how much will it be for us to get a removal company in to move us. We plan to pack ourselves we are moving from a 4 bed three storey to a 4 bed detached two storey house. We are probably moving no more than 10 miles.
I am thinking about getting a proper removal company in rather than man with van. Any opinions on what is best?

depends on a few things, what area of the country are you, what day of the week, what time of day, do you need boxes, do you need insurance do you want them to pack the boxes at one end/both ends...................
get yellow pages, look up removals, ring and ask for a quote. they are used to doing these. if you can roughly work out how much cubic sqt ft/metre your stuff takes up your off to a flyer
rough guess £400-5000
