Anyone a private landlord in Derbyshire?!

Ok, so a bit of a long shot I know!
Impending homeless by mid-April due to my landlord retiring and selling the business, and unfortunately my home goes with it.
Assessed as needing a 4 bed property but the council don't have any. Now I know they have a legal duty to house me, but I would rather make some decisions about where I end up rather than them dump me in temporary accommodation wherever they see fit.
I'm a decent human being with a 10 year tenancy under my belt, rent always paid and property looked after. Unfortunately on benefits due to being dsiabled and having son with special needs, but that does not make me the scum of the earth some people seem to think :rolleyes:
Am able to pay deposit, provide good refs etc. So if anyone out there has property to let, or knows someone who does, would be grateful to hear from you.
