Cancelled? holiday but received tickets

did your thomas cook store close??
it may have been an oversight if another store was looking after that stores business...
or a mix up and a payment was made on your booking insted of someone elses.
think it would be best if you ring them and explain what has happened tho

Sorry for not updating earlier. Well, I called TC today and said that I believed there was a balance to pay, the girl on the phone said that there wasn't that it was all paid up. I asked how and where they had taken the funds from but she said her system wasn't giving her that information. So, I requested that someone look into it and call me back because I'm worried someone elses payment has been put on my account and I'd hate that so they need to find where it came from. So far nothing. But I'm worried about making a big issue of it before the trip because I don't want to turn up to the airport or worse still get to florida and find they've cancelled things.

Anyway, I called the airline, they do have us booked on the flight, I informed them that we have a child with special needs and sorted out the seating.

To be honest there isn't much more I feel we can do at this stage. So, we are going on the trip, then as soon as we get back I'll try to sort it out with TC again (If I haven't heard anything before.)

This is all so insane though, 2 days ago I had no intention of going anywhere but now suddenly we're running around getting a holiday sorted and I don't even know what's going on. But honestly if we're going to pay we will at least take the trip.

Pink30 - other people may have been in a similar situation to yours but each case is individual - the outcome of one person's story does not necessarily mean that the outcome of your case will be the same
