I seem to recall they were one of my better creditors actually. But I suspect there may be a bit of a lottery involved, going off some of the replies here!

FWIW I got told Bank of Scotland are the biggest nightmares to deal with and I would concur, and show you the 4ft tower of correspondence from me to them to prove it! Christ, they were so bad I'm scared to say their name in case it makes them appear!
  • It appears then that if you're on top of things they're as nice as pay. Struggle to pay them back and they get all shirty and what appears to be unprofessional.

I'm going to watch this thread so be sure to let us know how you do! Luckily, I paid off my CC to them and only use it for the cashback via paypal. Infact I got £6.88 from them this morning. Not bad, having spent about £1300 on the card *rolls eyes*

  • Never had a problem as soon as we hit problems the insurance kicked in and paid them off.

  • For me MBNA were the worst ones to deal with-in fact it was because of their relentless putting interest rates up that I had to go bankrupt in the end.GE Money were great and I did manage to negotiate with them and paid them off about 6 months before I went BR.
