Just had a email that cc been used for another account

I have done the live help, and emailed safety team to say no one in family has authorised credit card to open a new account.
How could this happen, do i need to do anythign else, I have already changed password.

Get in touch with the credit card provider ASAP. It may be that someone has cloned your card or intercepted your details in some way. If the card has been used on a different account then this sounds like a card problem not a paypal payment. Look under your account details (Left hand margin) when you are logged safely into ebay.
