I have recently got access to all my credit score records and to my horror i have an outstanding credit card at an old address. Through the credit scoring agencies i can get the number of the card, however, they can not tell me who the card is with or help trace it. Obviously I am worried, is there a way of tracing old Credit card accounts? I am hope there is an easy method not unlike tracing old bank accounts etc through http://www.mylostaccount.org.uk/
All my credit reports say who the credit accounts are with and some give address for the releavnt organisations.
You need to get all 3 of your credit REPORTS from Experian, Equifax and call credit.
The statuortory reports are £2 eachi although they'll be happy to charge you more for an instant on-line report.
You can do free trials with the first 2 but you must remeber to cancel.
For callc redit you can get it for free with https://www.annualcreditreport.co.uk
Forget about scores, these are a waste of time.
You need to get your REPORTS which will tell you about all your credit accounts.
