Where to go with 6 mth old & 2yr old?

We are looking to book our first family holiday for this year but not sure wheres best for a family having never done it before. (Done loads of caribbean for us before but not really wanting to fly that far).

Any ideas? (We have £2500 in tesco deals, so hope to get something nice).

Thanks

Lykia World near olu Deniz in Turkey, longish flight for Europe but weather certainly makes up for it, good kids facilities especially with regards to babies, but still an adult enough complex

Yeah great in theory but taking two young kids on a long flight isn't fun. Kids of that age will be happiest playing about on the beach or the pool, so as long as its warm it doesn't really matter - go for a family friendly med resort .

Cala D'Or in Majorca is nice. There's no loud bars and nightclubs, so you don't get the 18-30, stag nights etc. going there. Nice, quiet family resort with sandy coves for the children to play in. I took my boys there and enjoyed it.

Menorca - most of the resorts are family orientated. Santa Galdana has the best beach.

We're off to Olu Deniz in Turkey later this year and that looks nice. Our youngest will have just turned 1 then. We're staying at the Olu Deniz Beach Resort which is right on the beach! I did look at Lykia World and the facilities looked good, but there were too many other negatives for me. Depends on personal preference I guess.
Here I go again on my own....
