OK all you techies-its catford again-my pc runs great once its settled down.-so why does it take up to 5 resets to get booted up? i must 've run every scan going and they all come up with different results and to fix anything ,want paying. How can one scan show 400+ errors and another scan only show 290??? I think serious reviews are needed.-Unbiased reviews!They all want payment-but for what?? But, back to booting up--why cant mine be consistent.??help! I dont really want to reformat or upgrade unless i really have to---it seems a bit desperate !

Gonna need some more details catford. OS for a start, how exactly the problem manifests itself, and any of the error codes you're getting. Then we might be able to get to the root of the problem, but be warned...if there are 400+ errors, a reformat could be the simplest option here.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the [highlight]Board Drunk[/highlight] for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

i'm running w2000 Ive just got a windows boot cd so i will see if fixing the cmos makes any diff!--but i think a reformat and maybe upgrade to xp is my best option!0
