Obviously with car radios, people wire them up wrong and blow them up, so you can see why the company want to test before handing out refunds.
Hopefully the court will just strike this one out...
lmao so you are saying i should be financially punished because other people are stupid?
fyi it is not possible to replicate this fault by incorrect wiring so its not really that "obvious"click here to achieve nothing!0 -

Why not just send it back for a refund or replacement.
Why shoud other customers be financially punished because some people are hard work?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

well m8 u send me the £19.00 to send it back and i will but they and i agreed a price for working goods and i paid it, my side of the contract is done and dusted.
You sound so against this principle that i have to wonder if u have a vested interest, an avid ebayer maybe?click here to achieve nothing!0 -
Why is it £19 to send it back
Just use a courier and it will be around £6-£70 -
They're not charging you to send it back, though, are they? You could drive there, or walk there, it's not the car stereo company's fault that RM charges for their service. If it's faulty you will get your refund and THEN you can begin to argue about postage costs, refund of.0

not sure if insisting on me returning at my expense could be classed as an indirect charge (legally) but when asked if they would refund postage when item was found faulty they wouldn't agree, might as well sue for the full amount as sue for £19.00click here to achieve nothing!0 -
I live in a village near a post office not next to a couriers depot which i would have to drive 15mls too and insured to correct amount as instructed by incarexpress was £19

Not one mention there of values insured for!
But just one point am i supposed to spend a day shopping round for cheapest courier, spend another day waiting for courier to collect, spend another day waiting for courier to deliver new item?
As i said i paid money for a working item this wasn't fulfilled and originally all would have been well if they had organised an exchange.
Seems to me there are a lot of people on here saying "why didn't you just do this?" but not many saying "why didn't they just do this?" is this site for on-line retailers or consumers? do you by any chance work for a retailer?click here to achieve nothing!0 -
A courier company doesn't need to collect from your home, as long as you can give them a pick up address they'll do it.
Hopefully you didn't open the unit up to test it? If so and any seal(s) have been disturbed then you're onto a loser.
Just return the damn thing and see what transpires.0 -

You managed to find the time to whine on here and take them to the small claims court....
The court might wonder why you did not just return it as requested..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"
