  • Evening everyone,
    Today I have:
    • made use of my work trips to take care of all my chores after work
    • have another work trip tomorrow, can get more chores done after work (forgot 2 things today )
    • dried washing outside
    • had a chat with dd1 today about money - she was really good, and seemed to grasp where I was coming from, then she and ds go out this evening, and I find she has blown her treats budget in about 10 minutes   :wall: (*deep breaths, calming thoughts*)
    • ate mealplanner dinner from ingredients already in house
    • bought petrol at the cheapest garage around
That's it - I hope everyone had a good day! (Should I also include that me and ds shared a Ben and Jerry's between us... maybe not:o Definitely not DFW, but soo nice!)
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

    Hi Splishsplash,
Well DD has survived her first monthly budget, she has one day to go to payday:rolleyes: . Have started to notice a few financial changes with her:D . She is now collecting every little bit of loose change around the house for her penny jar;) , has babysat 3 times the last week to add to her funds;) has started to wise up about subsidising her friends;) and has told her boyfriend he isn't having anything for valentines day as she is not wasting her money:rotfl: :rotfl: . I think she has found it a looooooong month after blowing her budget in the first few days but I have refused to bail her out:eek:  and it has been a wake up call for her:rotfl: .

PS DD used to have a ben and jerry's craze for chew chew caramel but now she is paying I haven't seen any lately:rolleyes:
