i installed avast last week,
o k for a few days, everything normal
however, over past few days, i am having problems accessing various sites e.g. logging onto to msn hotmail, signing in to ebay or when trying to purchase an item , unable to continue to basket or payment page. i get window displaying 'web page unavailable ' etc, even when i try to refresh, it says the same.
msn butterfly goes into motion, but after 5 attempts at signing in the message window appears - unable to connect- etc.
i have yahoo on my toolbar but the pop up blocker is off.
any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
initially i thought it was just msn internet i was having problems with, but now i realise it is other sites as well.

Hi r,
I don't use Avast. However, a quick search identified a support forum. Have you tried looking for queries with similar problems to those that you describe? Something like this perhaps.
Have you installed anything else recently?«««¤ Richie ¤»»»0 -
