Can anyone help me write a few lines in italian?

Story is, buyer is from italy and intially wanted to pay by bank transfer, anyway he couldn't get it to work so I said he would have to use paypal. That particular week I had a lot of things ending and didn't take too much notice of my paypal emails.
The buyer has paid me by using the send money in paypal rather than checking out through ebay (31st January) and I haven't noticed.
So in my ebay it is showing as unpaid so yesterday i filed an npb and he states in his reply that he has paid and quotes my email, so I then twig whats happened.

So basically I want to send a sentence saying
Sorry as you didn't use Ebay checkout your item was showing as unpaid. I realise now that you have paid me directly through Paypal but it has been overlooked. I apologise and will post by Thursday.

Any help appreciated...thanks in advance.
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D

What was the problem with the BT, out of interest? Did he have your IBAN / BIC ok?
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
  • I sent him all those details but he didn't seem to understand what iban & bic were.
But I'm wondering if really he was stalling me as the item finished on 22nd and he paid me on the 31st. And if he had paypal why not use in the first place..?

italians + paypal = alarm bells.

although for your sake i hope it all works out correctly!

i've heard alot from people who has buyers on ebay from italy, they all seem to say they never received their items!

and as all italians are unconfirmed paypal will always refund. no wonder he couldnt get your BIC & IBAN to 'work'
  • I think that has more to do with Italys rubbish postal system. If this goes missing then I am banning Italy as I have another italian buyer asking where his trainers are.
But I also read on here that you weren't allowed to send footwear to Italy but noboby could confirm it.

i don't speak italian so i translated what the op wanted to say in french and it doesn't really make too much sense although the person will probably understand. here's the message turned back into english

I think this gets across what you mean even though you can't translate exactly what you said as Italians don't use the same phrases!

    HTH;)
