Try Musbury fabrics (see http://www.musburyfabrics.co.uk/mill_shops.asp for locations). They always have quite a selection on the roll.

Sorry for dredging this thread up, but thanks for the recommendation Haribo. I've bought 2 oilcloths from this eBay seller and went back for a roll of protector. There was a problem with my order, but it was the postie's fault and they sent a new one out straight away.
