Hello there!
I'm looking for an oilcloth tablecloth. Or basically anything nice and wipe-cleanable as dd is weaning and her high chair has no tray, so she has her meals at the table with us!
Where can you buy such a thing? I found an ebay shop selling them but they were quite pricey. I'd love a nice tasteful one if poss
) DH will absolutely refuse to let me put anything nasty on the table!!!!!
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thank you in advance.

Ikea are selling wipe-cleanable off the roll cloth at the moment - can't remember the price but I do remember thinking it was cheap compared to ebay!0

John Lewis also do them if there is one near you not sure on the price though.0

I bought mine in John Lewis. Lots of different designs sold by the metre. I think they also sell similar in Homebase.0

Dunelm do a grea range in wipe clean tablecoths..........you buy them by the yard. Really nice patterns too.Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0

I notice you live in Lancashire. If you are near East Manchester there's a factory shop in Broadbottom which sells the plastic covered cotton by the yard-quite cheaply too.
They are only open on Thursdays, Friday and Saturday between about 11 and 3 but are well worth a visit if it's not too far to travel. They sell ordinary material-for curtains etc rather than dressmaking- plus things like unhemmed tea towels, aprons etc.0 -
I get mine from ebay and although they are a bit pricey, the range of patterns is fantastic and they last well.
I did see them in a large woolworths recently and Ikea sell them too. I think the John Lewis ones are quite expensive too but again, they're nice designs.0 -
I've just bought some from Dunelm Mill, £3 per metre I think it was. I got blue with zoo animals on (it's only for the kids when they're painting, to save my new table!) but they had some really nice designs in there.Been comping since January '08. Wins so far....NOTHING!:rotfl:*UPDATE* June - won a Bratz doll for my little girl0

I bought mine from a roll at Laura Ashley, about 13 years ago. They still do them like that in hardware shops.
