I want to return my iPod shuffle and get another one from Argos..?

If all shops did take faulty goods back due to neglect from the customer I would imagine we would be paying more for our goods as they would take a hit in there profits, and I doubt manufacturers would be happy to take them back

Fair enough if item was not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described then you may have some recourse

Ive got a car that i paid a lot for that Ive scratched- think ill take that back and ask for a refund!

Perhaps also hang onto a few of the wheels, they probably won't notice a few missing parts when they give you your cash back.
