I am confused..are you returning the ipod as faulty then? If so under the sale of goods act Argos are stillnot obliged to offer you a refund if the item can be repaired. Ipods are notoriously delicate and they will probably either suggest you send it to Apple under warranty or let thm do it on your behalf. Cosmeic damage though is not covered under the Apple guarantee.
So is it faulty or not,if so how old is it?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. i want to get my ipod shuffle exchanged for another one. I have had it for under a year. I was pressing the clip then it randomly wasn't working.0

tinkerbell is right. What you are describing is not a fault, it sounds like you handled it a bit roughly (not difficult with ipods).
I would say your chances of getting it replaced are very low.Gone ... or have I?0 -
In that case they will almost certainly offer a repair rather than a straight replacement unless you are very lucky.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I would also add tha I've had problems with ipods in the past having bought 3 in a matter of weeks for my 3 sons. In all cases Apple wouldn'teve accept a return until I had done all the reflashing etc from their trouble shooting guide. I agree with the other as well that Apple are extremelyunlikely to repair damage caused by handling they tend to concentrate entirely on faults with the actual workings of the ipod.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You want an exchange for a BRAND NEW spanking ipod shuffle.
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO This thread must be a joke.0 -
You've got to be kidding?? Why should you get a brand new iPod just because you can't take care of the one you've already got? Buy a new one. People like you just take the mick out of store's goodwill policies.0

Is this a pee take? If you tried to take it back, you'd be laughed out of the shop!"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."
