Ok was talking to a friend at work today and she was explaining some difficulty she had with Reeds rains so looking for some Advice please.
She put her house on the market in january 2007 and i couple viwed her house but they did not want it.
She left her job in april so she took her house off the market but in august she asked the couple if they wanted to part exchange the house for them couples home which they both agreed of.
They moved in in october and recently Reeds rains has contacted them saying they want a payment of over £2000 because they say it was them who introduced the 2 partys but they closed contact with reeds rains months before this.
Also the date on the agency agreement was wrong.
No period of time has been given to clear this debt,
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Reeds found the buyer. Of course [strike]you[/strike] your friend should pay the bill. Stop cheating and pay up.0 -
They introduced the buyer to your friends and they are entitled to a fee for that.
If they are claiming for the sale on your friends purchase as well, I'd say they were trying it on, on that point.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
