Theres loads that offer an increase in net speed.
All of them are complete BS toothe only thing to speed up browsing is pay more money for more bandwidth.

Tiscali do a free accelerator if you have any of their dial up services.0

beware of dial-up internet boosters, some come with spyware or "friendly" spyware.
they use a combined technology of compressed files, and local caching.
I think the answer is to go broadband.
oh and another trick is for them to use re-diallers which may or may not be premium or higher than normal phone rates"See you on the Other Side"0 -
Most free software contains addware spyware? And when you install it you don’t get a speed increase you get a slow down!
Your computer slows down because of ads they put on your computer! Most data is compressed already and you won’t see a big difference.
Some software is shareware and you are better paying a few quid to them to get adware free spyware free software.
Just go broadband and even with one Meg its going to be a lot faster than standard bt phone line connection.I'm not poor i'm just skint0 -
I stumbled upon a website called AskMarvin that shows ways of speeding up your broadband connection (particularly with regard to downloading. I didn't use the proxy server advice, but did use it to change my registry settings and I have to say there was a marked difference. I'm getting download speeds up to four times faster now.0
