Primus Telecom - refunds due for Moneysavingexpert users

If you signed up to Primus Telecom between 1 and 2 years ago for their broadband service there is a chance, and from experience it is a high chance, that they have overcharged you.

The service that was advertised on moneysavingexpert, and signed up to by a number of users, involved the following:

Broadband service charge of £20.99/month.
Free evening and weekend calls
Quarterly rebate of £15
Refund of three months service charges at end of month 12 (£62.94)

It seems that Primus "forgot" to provide the rebates as agreed. Furthermore, when prompted, only partial rebates may be provided and you may need to chase them a number of times before receiving the full appropriate rebate.

If you have since moved to another provider they may deny that they need to provide any refund to you, however this is not the case and you should persist.

  • Primus are THE WORST telecoms company in the world bar none. If you need to have a working phone line then just don't go there
