Well I play mine on my portable, and it's older than Wayne Rooney. What type of video connectors are you using? If it's a scart, it may just be that the socket is a little dodgy from years of use.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. I can't remember the detail, but we had a smilar problem with a Region 1 DVD and our TV. Turned out that DVD (format NTFS) and the format that our TV could receive weren't the same, hence a black and white DVD. Sorry I can't quite remember the detail.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Yeah you often get that when using PAL and NTSC devices. I've tried playing an America PS2 game on a British tv and it comes out b/w. Some tv's (usually more modern ones) can cope.
If you're tv is PAL and your PS2 is PAL then I'm stuck."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
there should be an option somewhere on startup to run the game at 50 hertz or 60 hertz... select 500
