I have checked the court papers and its for my hsbc bank account, its not from my bank account its my loan from hsbc that I took out in 2001 and havent paid since august last year.
Missed the fact that you were dealing with court papers in amongst the other stuff.
Can you check with CCCS again, but I doubt if there is time for you to complete a CCA if in the timescale that you need to return the papers. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
hi me and my partner are in debt, by about £7000, they told us that we could do dmp with cccs but partner lost his job now so we dont have any money to pay to debtors, cccs advised us not to go bankrupt due to the ammont we owe.
although in your case i would prob suggest it, (thats if you can afford to it costs around £400 per person)!0 -
almost debt free now thanks to cccs:j Glad Iv'e found this site :j0

This is really importanant
Have you filed an acknowldgement of service when you received the papers
You have 14 days from the date of the summons to do this. This then give you a further 14 days either to file a defence or partial admitance of your claim.
this also places the court hearings is a location close to you and not the issuing banks local court.
from the information that you have given bankrupcy is not the route to go down.
You have no assests at all so in effect if you have minimal income and no property etc, if you goto court and state what your finances are and offer £1.00 per month then thats what you do - to some people that might seem a cheek when you have a £20,000.00 loan outstanding but if you genuinely dont have the money then you cant get blood from a stone.
also they cant come after your bf becuase it is your loan and not a joint loan0 -

I feel sick, I owe about 28,000 in unsecured loans, im not working due to having a baby. Can a creditor force bankruptcy on me.
I know the feeling. I have got £50,500 in unsecured loans and credit cards with 9 different creditors. I have signed a scottish trust deed (IVA in England).
My advice would be to phone the CCCS or CAB and ask them the best way forward.0 -
im confused? if a creditor were to make you bankrupt what would they gain if you had no assets ? how would they get any money back, wouldnt it just cost them - for nothing?0
