Ok, so, they recieved the letters yesterday, so does that mean they have 12 working days as from yesterday to reply to us? Do they need to just reply or send a CCA within that time frame?

They must provide you with a true copy of the original cca within that time, Natasha. Do not be put off by a letter stating that 'they have requested a cca from the original creditor and have put the matter on hold' that is purely a delaying tactic, in the hope that you will not pursue the cca and will have absolutely no effect whatsoever on their obligation to provide you with this information if they wish to 'enforce the agreement'.

Hi NatashaP sorry to jump on your thread!1 I was looking for any thread re CCAs trying to find the answer to my problem.

We are doing a DMP with CCCS. I sent off for my CCAs out of interest. One of my creditors have sent me two holding letters now and are way past the deadline. They are co-op bank and they bought northern rock's credit card business about 5 years ago. I really don't think that they have our agreement because a couple of years ago when I asked them to find a missing payment I had made they really struggled due to not having access to NR's previous records and in the end had to write off the amount I had paid and credit it to my account.

All well and good but I'm wondering will I be able to dispute this debt whilst still making payments to them on my DMP (they have reduced our interest to 1%). And what will CCCS make of this?? Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you
