HSBC Busuness Account

I am a sole trader, and am currently using HSBC business banking. I do not make many monthly deposits, as i have a PDQ machine through Barclays, so all money goes directly into my bank account. My question is, why do i need a specific business account, would a standard current account with better interst not survise? I trade under my own name, as i am not a company. I do not feel that i am getting anything from business banking, other then a lower rate of interest, and monthly bank charges.
I would appreciate any advice.

If you do not use your HSBC Business account much, have you considered changing it to a HSBC Business Direct account
Its totally free as long as you stay within certain limits (mainly designed so you do most things online or via the telephone)
