First time seller!!

Hi,

I have just put my house on the market (Friday 8.02.08).

Can anyone tell me how often I should expect to hear from my estate agent? I've not heard anything since I spoke to him lest Wednesday. To be honest, im not too sure what to expect!

Any advise would be great! Thanks! :T

  • Hiya

My house has been on 3 1/2 weeks. I got a letter from the EA next day with my Advertisment to check over and confirm

After that I have only spoke to them to arrange viewings and get feedback. I am not expecting anymore contact for now really. Not sure if this is the norn as I am a first time seller too!

Though I will prob be giving them a call next week to reduce my price ......
  • We've just sold for the first time (completing on friday!) In our experience we generally only heard from the estate agent (before we had an offer), when they rang up to arrange a viewing. Sometimes we did have to chase them for feedback, and other times they called us. However we did consistently get viewers in during the period we were on the market so heard from them in one form or another quite regularly.
  • That's great!! Thank you for putting my mind at rest. :j
