                    Hi Folks,
I've noticed that IF (Intelligent Finance) have a card with 0% on balance transfers and purchases for 9 months. I don't see any mention either of a balance transfer fee.
Does anyone have an IF card? If so, how generous/not so generous are they with their credit limits?

I have an IF card, and didn't pay a BT fee.declanmcc wrote:Hi Folks,

As far as I can remember, all BT's done in the intro period are fee free - but check this with them yourself as I've had mine for 2 months now.
I already had a large ISA with IF but they still gave me the lowest of all my limits. Maybe it was because I already had 70% of my salary stoozed when I applied? The limit they gave me took me to around 95%.
I have been successful in getting another card since, so maybe it's just that IF don't like your "debt" getting too close to your salary?0

We both have an IF card with credit limits of 4k & 11k which I thought was good as we have a tidy sum already stoozed.0

They gave me £5800 credit limit no balance transfer fee, you get balance transfer form with each statement which also reminds you when introductory offer finishes0

I've just switched to the IF 0% for 9 months and done my fee free balance transfer. It was very quick and easy.
I got given £6k credit limit although I shall not be using the card.0

I got £7.5K off IF which was not to bad as I have £30,000 stoozed. M&S offered me only £5K before I got the IF card.0
